Another way to demonstrate Christ’s love is by assisting those who are physically or mentally disabled or are unable to survive without the support of others. Bethany Centre for Autism and Mentally Challenged gives both a place of care and education for Autistic and mentally challenged individuals. Individuals of various ages have come together to worship, pray, and have a learning environment to receive education. The opportunity for education is a great blessing to these individuals, as there is little to no outreach to them in their local region. Taking care of their physical needs is also part of the ministry. Feeding, Clothing, and giving baths are a few of the extra ways we take care of them. They need a loving environment to feel motivated to learn and be happy. Many students were abandoned and left to us to care for, never able to see a parent or family member ever again. We believe every soul matters and should not be abandoned without receiving the love of Christ. They, too, will be in heaven with the right mind, worshipping their savior.
